As a registered Cambodian NGO, our focus is on providing free education to young students while facilitating community-based programs that allow families to overcome poverty.
The organization started with a modest school in 2005 with the help of supporters from New Zealand and Japan. The aim was to teach English to rural students so they could have practical skills to find work in the town of Siem Reap, home to the Angkor temples.
After the initial years the team expanded to offer further languages classes such as Korean and Japanese.
As needs grew, the organization also started offering academic scholarships to students whose families were unable to provide educational support.
The ultimate goal of the organization is to help communities break out of the poverty cycle and create a better future for themselves.
To achieve this aim, in addition to academic scholarship, we also provide free education that focuses on practical skills that students can use at any stage of their lives as well as social and emotional skills that encourages them to become self-confident, compassionate and resourceful.
We also partner with organizations to facilitate outreach work in communities that need immediate support.
By building united, resilient, and resourceful communities and providing educational opportunities to ambitious students, we want to move forward with the intention of being a hub for development.
Everything we've done and everything we want to do is only made possible with the generosity of people from all over the world.
With a motivated team of locals and an inspired group of supporters, we are helping young people and their communities to move forward.
